SALES ASSOCIATE – STORAGE – PERMANENT MISSISSAUGA

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides pre-sales technical and pricing consultation in support of our clients Enterprise business. Acts as a point of contact for Account Executives, Telesales Representatives, Client Assistance Center Associates, and Enterprise Solution Architects for a given product line. Utilizes professional certification level and experience to assist with solution/design.
LEVEL OVERVIEW
The Specialist Level has the ability to solve a wide range of difficult problems using professional concepts and company policies and procedures in imaginative and practical ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments or projects.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience providing direct client support, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Also requires excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be people and client oriented, relationship driven, and have working knowledge of pricing programs for support product line. Minimum OEM certification levels required for supported product line and holds a minimum of 2 technical certifications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Constructs and/or validates accuracy of configurations based on solution specifications either from our clients Solution Architect utilizing appropriate configuration tools.
- Provides standard cost quotes from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) directly or via distribution partners.
- Facilitates communication between our clients Solution Architects and Account Executives when a Solution Architect is required to solution an opportunity.
- Submits Deal Registrations and associated special pricing forms based on Account Executive information within defined service level objectives.
- Notifies appropriate parties at least 30 days prior to Deal Registration and associated special pricing expiration.
- Updates the customer relationship management system with Deal Registration/special pricing information.
- Coordinates with Account Executives to ensure customer relationship management system is closed for an enterprise opportunity as a win or loss.
- Provides support by supplying part numbers for product descriptions and compiling Enterprise sales orders onto one purchase order for the OEM or distribution partner.
- Updates sales support teams on all Enterprise quotes sent directly to the Account Executives.
- Communicates and coordinates activities with Enterprise Solutions Architects or Enterprise vendor partners.
- Offers cross-sell/upsell opportunities to clients when opportunities are available.
- Maintains required certifications and stays up-to-date on industry knowledge for product line as directed by Enterprise Solutions Support management.
- Meets sales expectations within assigned territory/regions.

Must have two major certification specifically for (HP server & storage/ EMC / NetApp/ IBM … etc.)
