As part of our clients Pre-Sales Team, the Pre-Sales Solution Engineer will work closely with the team of Sales Director, and Customer Experience Group throughout the sales cycle to provide technical and functional solution leadership to the sales team. You will collect and use complex customer content and information requirements and design custom solutions.


Role Overview:

  • Work closely with Account Executives to clearly communicate and sell the value of our clients solutions offerings to clients and prospects
  • Develop technical and value-based demonstrations specific to customer inquiries
  • Deliver solutions and value presentations/demonstrations to a mixed audience of technical, operations, and management staff
  • High-level executive presentations – concisely deliver technical solutions to non-technical executives
  • Organize and conduct workshops/proof of concept evaluations and pilot projects
  • Assist Account Executives in relationship management, sales strategy and tactics
  • Participate in sales account planning and sales strategy development with Account Executives and Sales Management
  • Answer technical and functional RFI/RFPs and other client requests for written responses
  • Remain up to date on competitors and communicate competitive intelligence from the field
  • Exchange best practices and share knowledge within the Pre-Sales community


We are looking for someone with:

  • A. or B.S. Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years enterprise Pre-Sales experience
  • Strong understanding of: Cloud Technology, Storage, Data Centre Infrastructure, Networks and Security
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritizes under pressure
