EMC SAN’s
Provide ongoing administration, support, capacity planning and life-cycle management of a large UNIX enterprise onsite at our client site. Work with vendors, end users, Customer Service Representatives and other technical staff to resolve advanced UNIX hardware/software issues.
Acts as a mentor to others on the team, help develop practice exercises and assists with recruiting and technical staff development functions. Able to provide clear and effective training to peers.
Knowledge
Demonstrating an advanced knowledge level with respect to:
• HP-UX and MC/SG; including daily administration and ongoing support of highly available systems, test, development and production environments.
• Leadership and motivational methods
• Preparing and holding technical presentations to non-technical business people or peers
• Project management methodologies
Education/Certifications/ Experience
Bachelor’s degree, technical degree or 10+ years of UNIX experience in the IT industry.
HP-UX UNIX administration and high proficiency in MC/SG given high preference.
As well as understanding of EMC SAN products.
