DESKTOP ANALYSTS – 2 JOBS – 5 MONTH CONTRACTS
LOCATION: TORONTO, ON
Desktop Analysts 5 Month Contract
Provide PC deployment and deskside support for standard hardware and software.
PC Deployment
- Deployment of approximately 400 desktops and laptops.
- Image new machines with Windows 7 and Office 10
- Install additional applications as needed
- Migrate user data
- Setup and test printers
- User tutorials re: Windows 7 usage
Deskside Support
- Triage case tickets prior to taking action
- Respond to incidents and service requests for Desktops, laptops, printers, servers and network.
- Data restoration
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot supported OS and desktop applications.
- Isolate and resolve network problems, escalating when necessary.
- Perform desktop and laptop hardware upgrades.
- Engage in continuous process improvement efforts.
- Logistics, Inventory and Asset management
- Apply emergency software fixes
- Restore workstations when required.
